A Wedding Card..

It was my Cousins wedding this Friday just gone (St George's Day). We were invited to the evening reception, as it was only a small affair- Mum & Dad went to the wedding (Mum was asked to make the cake by them-I will try to get some pictures off her of it, as I didn't get to see it before it was cut-my Cousin was over the moon with it).
Here's the card I made for them, with a gift holder to match.

Items Used:
Stamps: Francoise Reed-Wedding Tots; Stampendous-Congrats Wave;SU- Yummy set.
Papers: Bazzill card stock, sugar coated card stock, Whisper White card, gold mirror card,Kaiser Scrapbook paper- 'Bird Song'
Misc: Martha Stewart punches; Nestabilities label set; Prima flowers & leaves, paper roses from stash; glitter glue; gold & pearl beads; water colour pencils; ribbon from stash.

The papers were distressed & images were distressed with Antique Linen ink pad.
I got the idea for the card from the Just Magnolia challenge blog(Week 49) from a lovely card by Bev.

Well think that's everything covered- except to say I hope they both like the card when they opened it!

Hope you've been enjoying this lovely sunny weather of late- lets hope its here for a while yet- the extension is now going full steam ahead!
I came home Friday from work to find 6 men and a very big hole in my garden! Didn't think they were starting till next week- they had started digging out the footings, and came back on Saturday to finish ready for the cement delivery. OMG- I'm imagining the dust, mess & poor scared puss cat for the next few weeks- think I 'll move back home to the parents till its done!LOL. Can't imagine Mum being too enthralled by that idea, especially if all my crafting stuff comes with me in tow!

Well off to tidy my sad room.... Well move things around a bit so it looks tidy at least!

Take care,
Teresa xx

New Magnolias!!

Well they were new when I used them! I eventually got around to inking up my new Spring Tilda's
and made a couple of cards- getting the inspiration from Kim Piggott's blog. I love visiting here and drooling over her cards( not literally as this would be rather messy & unsightly on my part!) No way near as good as any of Kim's creations, but I'm getting there!

I loooove this Tilda....

Items Used:
Stamps:New Spring Tilda stamp, Kaiser Craft sentiment stamps
Papers: Magnolia papers; SU So Saffron, Whisper White card & DS papers; other card from stash
Misc: Martha Stewart lattice & butterfly punches;leaf punch; Prima flowers distressed with Antique Linen & spritzed with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist; Prima leafs;Magnolia jewel stems;pearl strings from stash; water colour pencils; lace border from stash.
I distressed the edges of the papers & card with a distressing tool and used Antique Linen on the edges. I love this little butterfly punch also, so be prepared to see more of it in the future!LOL

Hope you like them....

There's a Thief on the Prowl...............

There's a tree thief on the prowl......
and they've stolen my trees from my garden!!!
I went to work yesterday & when I got back home & went out into the garden,
someone had been in and stolen it!!LOL

Not really.... we have decided to have an extension on the back for some extra
room- it was that or move house, which we decided was too expensive to do!
I thought this wasn't going to happen for a few months, but got told on Thurs
evening that someone would be round to cut the trees down at the back of the garden
as they were possibly going to start the project this Monday!!!

OMG- 6 weeks of mess, mud, scared pussycat running around the house and endless packets of chocolate biscuits
& teabags that I'm gonna have to buy now!

Keep telling myself it will be worth it, as I will have the 'sad room' all to myself upstairs-yeah!!
No more being told to move things, so that hubby can get to the desk or his filing drawers!!
I can leave my mess as it is! LOL
I will show pictures as it goes along, maybe.

Well last day of the Easter break- back to normality next week, although have been in for 3 days or so to do work & place orders ready to come back.
All those good ideas & things I was going to do- few of which happened!

Off to do the housework, as out for a Crafting day tomorrow with Mrs Wonka & another lovely lady called Helen Meighan.
Hopefully will show you what we did all day afterwards!

Enjoy the last day of the Easter hols..
