18th Birthday card for a relative...

I always struggle when it comes to making a card for a male - even more so when its for a relative!!
It's my husbands cousins son's 18th this month( wow..that was a mouthful!!), and I didn't want to make the usual football themed card I do for him.
I thought I would try something different & use one of the Wendy Stenton card templates I've got sitting on the shelf for yonks!
I'm not sure if I like it or not- don't know if its too busy or too dark with the colours! Oh well, too late now - its made!!

Anyway here's what I used:
Papers: cream card, Kaiser scrapbook- 'Rough & Tough', Cloud9Design- Hannah's Story-'Thin stripe'.
Stamps: Magnolia - Edwin, dog & ' Happy Birthday'
Misc: Quickutz dies for name & 18th, glossy accents.

I don't know if you can see, but I did put the glossy accents on Edwin's shoes & his dogs nose & both were 3-d with foam pads. There are some 18's hiding inside the card also!

Right that's 2 down -only got my mums 60th , my Dad & Father- in - laws birthday cards to make, and the rest of the wedding stationary for the girl at work & a wedding card for her, by the end of this month! In between that fit in all the online challenges with Stamp with Us every day- phew!
Right where to start......
