A Challenge & Update...

Well did manage to do two challenges for this card that I made at the weekend - but as I didn't get around to putting it on my blog till today it now only just still counts for one challenge.. doh!!
I will try to get it in quick for the Friday Sketchers Challenge, which this week was a great sketch by Mumur from France, and is sponsored by The Cutting Cafe- go check it out while you still can.
For the card I used: Magnolia Tilda with Rose; papers from my stash; Core'dinations card stock which was embossed with Cuttlebug Scroll folder& distressed( ABC Challenge last week that missed!); Quickutz Scroll die; SU flower punch; lace & buttons from my stash; rub-on sentiment.
I quite like this sketch and am going to have a go at a few more cards using it.

Also thought would update the progress on the wedding invitation making- have managed to get all the outer envelopes made, plus few spare- have just got to make up the sentiment for the day & evening invite & put on the front with the rose. Now waiting for the printer to send out the proofs to show the girl from work & then go ahead & make all the inserts up- not much left to do!!!!!
Am starting to get panicky and hope I will get them finished by end of the month for her to send out- then can relax until have to make the place cards and anything else she needs.

Oh well gotta go as got to get ready for work & try to get the cat in- have renamed her Dora the Explorer- as she goes out in the mornings & as soon as I get home from work, and you don't see her for ages- she keeps popping back to check we are still here, use her dirt tray or have a bite to eat before going off again. Favourite thing to do at the moment is to climb on top of the patio heater( that has never been used in the 5 years or so that have had it!!), climb onto the fence then up onto the garage roof- then she can't get down!! I even got the ladders out the other day to help her down, but she was having none of it, so I left her to it and she eventually worked out how to get down by herself!
Speak to you later..
