I had a lovely day yesterday at CUL, as I managed to get on the lovely Kim Piggotts class.
We made a matchbox storage box, with a card on top.
I have admired Kim's work for ages & always visit her blog for inspiration. I am very pleased with my finished project, although I couldn't quite get the crackling right!
Products Used:
Magnolia Dragonfly stamped image onto water colour paper.
Image painted with: Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Brushed Corduroy and Black Soot Vintage Photo Distress ink pads.
Prima flowers -sprayed with Glimmer Mist, pearl centers & punched flower.
Bazzill card stock, chipboard covers, tulle, Kaiserkraft? paper, Quickutz die cut leaves, Glimmer Mist, Ranger Crackle paint, pearl topped pins, Ladybird stamp, glitter glue, Quickutz sentment dies.
All the ladies on the class were lovely, and we all went home pleased with our projects!
I am definitely going to have a go at making some more of these, as they are ideal for a special present, filled with gifts.
A big thanks to the girls at CUL, who kept us refreshed all day with cups of tea, and to Lynne & Tracy, for getting all the packs ready for the class.
Hope you are having a good Sunday, and the weather isn't too bad where you are. Its brightened up here now that its stopped raining!!
Catch you later, as I have some more cards to upload later....
